The Beadalon bead mat is designed to prevent beads from rolling around and cusion hands while stringing beads. I find it removes the frustration of searching for the all important bead that has fallen on the floor and the £1.00 cost should soon be recouped by the cost of the beads that would of fallen on the floor and been vacummed up if you had not purchased it.
